A commercial relationship changes nothing about a fact, but it is information a reader is entitled to before they act on a recommendation. The disclosure runs in the footer of every page as well as here, and commercial links carry the standard sponsored attribute so that search engines and browser tools can see them too.

Rankings express editorial judgment. The criteria used to inform that judgment are described in how we review , alongside the sources used for the individual criteria. The ranking is not a computed average of those criteria.
