The verdict
Reproduction Gallery is a specialist that has decided what it is not going to do. It will not frame your painting, it will not stretch it, and it will not put a photograph of the finished work in front of you before it goes in the tube. What it will do is paint almost anything, at almost any size, on a five-option painted border, and tell you plainly which country it comes from. "Your painting will be shipped from our Studio in Thailand" appears twice in its FAQ, unhedged, which puts it ahead of five of the eight stores here on the question buyers most often cannot get answered.
The 6.4 is the arithmetic of those choices. Two criteria score zero or near it — framing, because there is none, and photo approval, because none is promised — and each is worth 8 and 15 per cent of the total. Everything else is strong: 21 days of production stated in writing, free worldwide shipping with DHL or FedEx, canvases to 225 centimetres on the shortest side, Winsor & Newton oils named on the page.

"Every painting is created using professional materials, including Winsor & Newton Professional Artists' Oil Colors and premium canvas" - the paint brand is named, the canvas fibre is not.
"Most hand-painted oil painting reproductions require a minimum of 21 days for production before shipment", repeated as "most paintings are completed within approximately 21 days".
The FAQ describes internal review only - "the work is reviewed to evaluate composition, color balance, proportions" - plus an Order Tracking profile; no page read on 2026-09-05 promises the buyer a photo to approve before dispatch.
A "45-Day Money-Back Guarantee" is advertised sitewide and on the Shipping & Returns page, but the same FAQ's returns answer says to "email us within 7 days of receipt" - the two windows are not reconciled anywhere on the site. Cancellation is 24 hours.

What it costs
Starry Night starts at $299 for the smallest size offered, 23.2 by 29.5 inches — a canvas already larger than the entry size at most competitors — and rises in 22 steps to $1,041. There is no framed price because there is no frame. Budget separately for finishing. The only published third-party figure in this survey is overstockArt's, which puts local stretching at $20 to $40; framing is a local quote, and for scale the stores here that do frame charge between $250 and $623 to do it. On a small canvas that hidden second bill can approach the price of the painting; on a very large one it is a smaller proportion, which is part of why this store makes most sense at size. It is worth being fair about the rolled-canvas policy, because the store's reasoning is sound and it publishes it: shipping large stretched or framed work internationally is expensive and risky, and rolling lets the buyer choose a framer and a style locally. The objection is not the decision, it is the silence about what the decision costs. A store that recommends four framers by name could just as easily publish what those framers charge.
Who it is for
Buy here for size and for obscurity. If you want a canvas measured in metres, a painting nobody else lists, an exact proportional match to an original, or a craquelure finish on an Old Master, this is the store with the range to do it — and it will tell you which country it comes from, which matters if you are importing something large. Buy here also if you already have a framer you trust, because you are going to need one.

No. Every order ships rolled in a tube, at every size, with 7.5 cm of surplus canvas for a local framer to grip. The FAQ names recommended framers in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Florida and Singapore, but the cost of finishing the painting is yours and is not quoted.
Where are Reproduction Gallery paintings made?
