ArtsHeaven review (2026): the domain stopped resolving, and here is what it used to promise

The verdict

Do not order from ArtsHeaven, because on 2026-09-05 there was nowhere to order from. The domain did not resolve for us, and the failure is upstream of any one network: Cloudflare's public resolver returned the extended error "No Reachable Authority at delegation artsheaven.com", which means the domain's own nameservers could not be reached, not that our connection was blocked. The Internet Archive's last successful capture of the home page is dated 2026-01-03. Something happened to this business, or at least to its domain, in the eight months since.

The review is still worth publishing, for two reasons. Buyers still search for the name and deserve to know what they will find. And ArtsHeaven's archived pages are a useful benchmark for the trade: it was a straightforward, cheap, no-frills seller of exactly the kind that this market is full of, and reading its terms explains a good deal about what the surviving stores are competing on.

The scores below are read from archive captures and are marked with the capture date rather than today's. They describe the offer as it last stood, and are kept in the survey so the eight stores can be compared on the same criteria — not as a recommendation to buy.

What it used to cost

The archived ladder — $285 at 32 by 26 inches rising to $635 at 60 by 48 — was mid-market for a rolled canvas, not the bargain the site's "50-75% below gallery prices" language implied. Reproduction Gallery, which also ships everything rolled, starts a comparable Starry Night at $299 today and names its studio country. The honest summary is that ArtsHeaven was priced like a full-service store while offering none of the services, and it is not obvious that the model had anywhere left to go. What it did well, and what it never did

• It named the canvas. "100% cotton artist's canvas" is more than four of the surviving stores will say, even if cotton is the cheaper answer.
• It printed its shipping exceptions. Australia $40, Asia $30, Denmark $20 — most stores that claim free worldwide shipping do not tell you where that stops being true.
• It explained the duty position properly, citing the tariff heading under which hand-painted work usually enters duty free.
• It never showed you the painting. No proof, no approval, no revision — you paid, and three to four weeks later a tube arrived.
• Fifteen per cent came off every refund, plus return postage, which turns a 30-day guarantee into a fee for changing your mind.
• No frame and no stretcher, at any price. A paid gallery wrap at plus 15% was the only finishing option, and it extended a matched-colour border rather than the image itself.
• No independent review record at all, and now no website either.

There is a lesson in the scorecard that outlives the company. Of the three criteria where ArtsHeaven scored zero or near it — approval photograph, framing, origin — two are things that cost a seller money to provide and one costs nothing at all. A store that will not tell you where the painting is made is not saving anything by staying quiet. It is simply choosing not to say. There is a second lesson beside it: the FAQ answered "Does your price include stretcher and frame?" with a flat no and never mentioned the wrap it was selling two clicks away, which is why a policy page is worth less than a checkout.

Where to go instead

If you came here looking for ArtsHeaven, you were probably after a cheap hand-painted oil shipped rolled from a store that had been trading for twenty years. Two live stores fit that description now.
